Espresso kiosks in Oregon - drive-thru done right

In Oregon one is never very far from someone that will serve up an espresso, cappuccino, latte or steamed hot chocolate. About every town I passed through along the coast, even tiny ones, had repurposed drive-through kiosks to serve this purpose. 

I discovered that most would provide some pastries as well. Below is a kiosk lunch from one that included steamed milk hot chocolate, a puff pastry turnover filled with local ham and cheese (Tillamook cheddar made about 5 miles away) and a generous dollop of basil pesto to spread over it as I wished. 

 “And would you like us to give you a cup of pesto for that turnover.” “Uh, yes please”

A few miles down the road was another overlook with another view and a picnic table. Made my day.
