For awhile I have followed a blog called the man in seat 61. There is no question in my mind but that it offers the best practical information on train travel, worldwide. I recommend it enthusiastically. Here is the link

I wish what I am doing in these pages could come close to what he provides his followers in terms of comprehensive practical advice and tips.
